MiniSite Profits Exposed: Are You Using It?
How many times have you complained about there not being any immediately useful information about how to make money online?
If you haven’t complained about it, you’ve probably heard other people complain. And you know what? You’re right. It IS tough to find good information, especially if you need to know how to start from scratch.
I get a ton of emails from people needing help with this stuff. Literally hundreds. And they usually ask very similar questions, because nobody’s ever laid out the simple steps you need to take to set up your own mini-sites that actually turn a profit.
The funny thing is, I used to be in the same situation myself. I was frustrated. I couldn’t find help anywhere. I knew I wasn’t stupid, but I needed somebody to lay out a blueprint for me to follow to get started…and not charge me an arm and a leg for it. I definitely can relate to people who are struggling with nowhere to turn.
So I did my part to fix that problem by offering a 100% free video course called MiniSite Profits Exposed. I launched it on Monday (it’s my first product in two years). You’ll find it here:

My goal was to give people the nuts and bolts of how to create mini-sites for themselves, without being technical geniuses. I won’t go over the entire course here, but here are some important items in there:
- The right mindset for building profitable mini-sites
- How to write hyper-converting copy for your squeeze page and your sales page (including the “blind bullets” technique that’s almost sure to get you more conversions)
- How to automate your business
- Simple strategies for increasing your profits with minimal extra effort
- And much more!
The main point of the course is that creating mini-sites is easy, once you know what you want to sell. In other words, once you have a product, even a very simple one that didn’t take you long to create, selling it with a mini-site is the easiest, quickest and cheapest way to make money.
Apparently the message is getting out there, because roughly 30,000 people have signed up so far. Here’s what just a couple of them said about the free course:
“Hi Michael,
Your Mini Site Profits Exposed Videos were a real eye opener for me. I want to thank you so much for your time, and effort in producing such top quality information. These videos alone will help people of all walks of life back on the right path to becoming successful online. This is the BEST information I have ever come across online to date: You can be sure I’ll be sharing this with as many struggling marketers as I can.”
- Gary Neame
“Mike,
I have to first off tell you that I am the most skeptical person on the planet when it comes to buying “How to make money” information. I don’t care if it’s online or at a convention/seminar. Well, so far this one is everything that you said it would be and more. In fact I have some programming knowledge and thought I would need it. It turns out, my girlfriend started setting up a site after I fell asleep three days ago and it’s already bringing in money. I’m not saying I’m buying an estate home soon, but it actually is as easy as you said and DOES WORK!! Thanks again for being so persistent with your emails to us.”
- Brad Rello
These are real people, probably very similar to you. They picked up the free course and watched the videos. As you can see from Brad’s comments, he’s ALREADY making money with this.
So now my question to you is…are you using this stuff yet?
The course is 100% free. Have you started applying it in your business? If not, why not? If so, what’s standing in your way so far?
All the best,
Michael Rasmussen

Hello Michael,
It is rare that I will take the time to leave a comment anywhere, not so much because I don’t like to, but because of time constraints. As marketers we are constantly getting bombarded with offers and new launches so it’s no surprise that we are just overloaded so time is precious. But I just had to make an exception today.
I want to tell you that I almost feel like I’ve cheated you out of something I should have paid for. Your Mini Site Profits Exposed video course was priceless. To get something of that caliber for free was a bit mind boggling. You have earned my respect because you over-delivered. Your course was not just a teaser to get me to buy something. You actually delivered incredible value and solidified my loyalty. My hat off to you.

Hi Michael,
The video course is amazing. I can’t believe how easy it makes this. I’ve been completely in the dark for so long that I was getting too frustrated to do anything. Now that you’ve put everything in one place, and explained it so well, I have hope again!
But I have one “issue” I can’t seem to get my head around, no matter how hard I try.
In several of the videos you talk about how to set up an autoresponder. You even gave a couple sample messages and some guidelines for scheduling. All of that is great, but the deeper question for me is how do I know what to promote to my list?
I mean, there’s a ton of stuff out there and I’m not sure how to keep up with everything so I can maintain consistent contact with my list. I always seem to get behind, go quiet and have my list get stale so they never buy anything anymore.
If you can offer any more guidance on this, I’d appreciate it.
Thanks again for the great videos! I still can’t believe they’re free.

Hi Ted,
Great question. I couldn’t include absolutely everything in the course, so I didn’t go into as much depth about affiliate promotion.
You’re absolutely right about keeping in regular contact with your list. The challenge for most people is that it takes a lot of work to review products and pick winners. And to be blunt, it takes some email writing skills most people either don’t have or aren’t confident they have.
So you should check out this deal of mine:
http://michaelrasmussen.com/video/killer-emails/
The video there explains everything in detail, but in a nutshell, I’ll give you 30 free email promo templates for some killer products that still sell like crazy. These are proven emails that have brought in a ton of money, and I’ll give you PLR for all of them. Plus a few little extras I’ve thrown in.
All you have to do is sign up to try my autoresponder service for a month…and I’ll even reimburse you for that! Try it free for a month. If you like it, stay on and pay the low monthly fee. If you want to leave, you can cancel and owe nothing.
That should save you a lot of work keeping up with your list, and give you my recommended autoresponder service to boot.
The video has instructions for how to get reimbursed, etc. so check it out. And everybody else who needs help with email promos to the lists they start building at their mini-sites should check it out too.
Hope that helps.

Hi Michael…
I took advantage of your freebie Mini Site Profits Exposed Video course and at the same time went for the OTO Delux Extras, that go with it, just a couple of days ago.
Unfortunately, I then went and slipped a disc in my back (again), so I am only just trying to return to my computer with all my fingers and toes crossed..
Though I have yet to get into the meat of the whole product, I have to say, that at first glance, the whole Freebie videos and then the delux extras are just phenominal!!
I really can’t wait to get into the programme proper in the coming days, as I truly believe it will do everything you say and MORE!

You don’t need a complicated site, or a huge product. You just need the right mindset and launch techniques.

“He micheal I don’t have a website yet but I amd wanting to know It it is possible for me to make a couple hundred dollars before the first of the month.”
I never want to squash anyone’s dreams, but making a couple hundred bucks between now and July 1 is very likely to be a challenge for you.
I don’t know you at all, but I suspect you’re pretty new to the online marketing game. If you’re starting from scratch like that, it’s probably going to take you more than 11 days to see profits. It COULD happen, but I don’t want to get your hopes up.
That said, the biggest hurdle for most people is getting started. So watch the videos and then…this is the critical part…apply them! You never know what you can do until you try.

This is a matter of timeframe.
How soon do you want the $700-800 per month? If you want it tomorrow, you’re probably setting yourself up for failure. But let’s do some math…
Suppose you sell a product at your minisite for $27. If you sell it at ClickBank and offer a 50% commission on it, you’ll end up with roughly $13 profit per sale.
So if you want to make $700-800 per month, all you need is roughly 50-60 sales a month. That’s roughly a couple sales per day.
Can you get that? SURE! The free videos talk about how to set things up so you can do it.
Will you get that? I have no idea! Really, I’m not trying to be funny. If you have a niche with people who are willing to spend money, and your product meets one of their desperate needs, and your sales copy sells well, you can easily start seeing 50-60 sales per month.
But the key is to get started. You won’t see 50-60 sales per month until you see your first one. You can grow from there.

However, there are some people, like me, who have medical conditions that make it difficult to watch moving objects on a screen (computer or television).

Hi Marlene,
I can feel your desperation, so I’m going to do my best to respond helpfully.
What I can’t do (and won’t even try) is promise that any of my products, or anything I say on this blog, will solve all your money problems and make you rich beyond your wildest dreams in a week. That’s crazy.
The most important thing you said is that you don’t know where to start. I can help on that one! Here’s what I recommend:
1) Apply what’s in MiniSite Profits Exposed. Create a simple product and a simple site for yourself.
2) Definitely apply the techniques for creating a squeeze page and building a list.
3) Offer your product for sale on ClickBank. (To answer your specific question about ClickBank, you can offer your own product there or you can promote products as an affiliate, either way.)
4) Follow the advice in the videos to get some traffic to your mini-site. (This is a place where the Deluxe videos actually might help you a ton, because I go into more detail about traffic generation there.)
That’s how to start. I can’t claim it’s “push button simple”, because it does take some effort. But the free videos will do a good job of helping you set up your own site and have the potential to profit from it.
Remember, there’s NEVER a guarantee that you’ll profit from any mini-site. Do your best to find a good market and to create a good product for that market. Then you’ll be able to test it out to see if you get any sales.
And most important, Marlene, don’t give up. You say you won’t, and I hope you really mean it. If you stick with this, you can do it. It just won’t happen overnight.
As for me providing coaching, I don’t do that right now…but the videos should help

Hi Walter,
Your domain isn’t absolutely critical, but it’s important for two reasons:
1) You want a domain that’s at least related to your product, or people won’t associate your product with the domain. Selling a weightlifting book at horseracing.com probably won’t help your marketing any.
2) A domain with your keyword in it will help you get some free traffic from search engines.
Focus on having a domain related to your product topic and you’ll do yourself a favor.

Miloud,
If you don’t have an Internet connection at your house, do you have access to one somewhere else?
That won’t be very convenient for you, but it might let you get started.
Regarding not having money, you’re going to need some. You’ll need at least a little bit for a hosting account and for an autoresponder account. That might run you $30 per month minimum. If you don’t have that much, you’ll need to save up so you can get started.
That might not be what you want to hear, but I think it’s the truth.

Do I need to draw in a big list of followers before I can sell? How do I sell solutions to all sorts of different business problems? So if I wanted to expand this buiness to some other subject would I need a whole new list of followers for that subject too?
Yes, and what exactly do I email them about every week? Do I need to be an expert in everything?
I think a week with you could solve all my dilemmas but as you are only available on video I’m off now to look at upgrading to the deluxe.
Thank you for a fantastic product

Kate,
I just saw your comment but for some reason it disappeared when I tried to approve it. No worries…I copied it first
Let me address your points one by one.
“I am so thrilled with your videos - thank you!!!!
The content is brilliant and they have taught me so much. I wish you did some coaching as I have questions that I feel I must run by you.”
I’m glad you liked them. Lots of people tell me I should offer coaching, but I haven’t had the time. I won’t close the door on it, but it’s a future thing.
“Say I wanted to promote business products, both my own and those that other people have created. I would need a business mini site right?”
I recommending having at least one site for your business, but you can start with a site that’s not necessarily a “minisite”. You could start with KatesPlace.com (something as an umbrella for your brand), and then add minisites as you create products.
“Do I need to draw in a big list of followers before I can sell?”
Nope! There are lots of ways to get free traffic, and that’s really all you need. Offer something compelling, send free traffic to it, and build your list that way. In other words, build a list by selling something.
“How do I sell solutions to all sorts of different business problems? So if I wanted to expand this buiness to some other subject would I need a whole new list of followers for that subject too?”
Like I said, if you have a sort of umbrella site, you can build other sites to sell individual products. That’s probably what makes the most sense in the long run. But when you’re just starting, there’s nothing wrong with putting up your first minisite and getting some cash first!
“Yes, and what exactly do I email them about every week? Do I need to be an expert in everything?”
No, you don’t have to be an expert in everything. You can email them reviews of products (see http://michaelrasmussen.com/video/killer-emails/ for some help with that), case studies of the stuff you’re doing and what you’re learning, etc.
“I think a week with you could solve all my dilemmas but as you are only available on video I’m off now to look at upgrading to the deluxe.”
Thanks for upgrading. I doubt I could solve ALL of your dilemmas in a week, but thanks for the vote of confidence.
I hope those answers help. It sounds like you’re anxious to get started.

I have been listening to the videos and like what I am hearing.
I had trouble getting my clickbank setup done. Am waiting to hear back from them to get it going. I wish it could be done sooner, but no luck. I sure could the extra cash from month to month.
I am retired and on Social Security, so my income is on the limited side. As soon as the clickbank account is up and running, I will be doing more. In the meantime I will continue to watch the videos.
Thank You, Gail

Hi Michael
I´v seen the video´s and the say nothing but great things.
But i think i need to go though them some times to create
a mini site of my own.
I live in denmark and my life and way of living incl. finances
have´nt been so good for the past 2½ years.
You can read about it on a small website i´ve made.
It´s pretty sad and me and my family rearly need help.
Thats why i am trying to create minisites/websites to get
a better income. right now i´m in hell.
I´m on sickpay with stress and trying to pull everthing
together, but that is not so easy.
I was kind of good to make websites, but now i can not
think clearly. My head is spinning and thoughts are flying.
But i will keep fighting to lift my family up from the dirt
we have been put in to.
Your input is great. I just need to get my head strait to
do things the right way and get them to work proppebly.
Thx for now and
Best Regards
Ewan
ps. You can read about my last 2½ years in hell
her [check out Ewan’s site link].
It is not a must, to read the site. and it won´t cost a thing
to look and read about me and my family´s nightmare..
But there is a donation button on the page for them who
feel our pain.
pps. would you be interrested in linkin to my sad story.
Even better, help me create a flow of traffic to the site.
Sorry to ask. hope you won´t take any effence.

Hi Mike,
This testimonial is maybe a little premature because I haven’t finished reviewing all the videos…however,
These videos are like eating a Steak Dinner with a nice bottle of wine and the trimmings….
I own a brick and mortar marketing and advertising company…back in the 90’s we started redirecting resources into the internet concepts.email and basic web presence to replace printing, yellow pages costs
and add a lot more to our client reach….
Personally, I am a Licensed Electrical Professional and also double majored in computer sciences and electrical engineering long before there was a term called PC back in 1972..and have kept an eye on the pulse of internet marketing since the mid 90’s…
Because of my personal responsibilities in the brick and mortar business world….owning and operating 3 companies….I had to take the internet marketing at a slow pace at first, subscribed to many of the well known pioneers, some are deceased now…Cory, Gary and a few more, but the new wave coming in the late 90’s and into more recent times have been interesting.
A few years back I set up my own hosting company, added a web design department to augment my graphics group and started my exit strategies out of brick and mortar businesses into the ramping up of a home based operation for internet marketing for retirement..
I soaked up a lot of information from the best people around….it took a lot of overtime hours for me to get positioned both for semi-retirement and launching into internet marketing..from a subscriber, buyer of products and investment into tools and services…besides watching the internet changes like watching the stock market….and I’m sure many people have gone through this same tempering as me.
I’ve learned HTML…CSS….some java scripting….
built a few presence websites…got a paypal account, became a clickbank affiliate, a buyer and seller on ebay, have an autoresponder service in place and so much more…..this just lays the groundwork about me.
Now let me share my testimonial about you…I have been a loyal reader and subscriber of yours for a long time..learnd your email promos exposed and now this mini site concept…
Your videos for the mini site exposed series are very excellent…never seen anyone ever reveal this type of compounded and absolutely mind blowing amount of information …..talk about moving the free line…!!!
Your videos are the most comprehensive series of the overall picture related to internet marketing I’ve ever seen…they are both a challenge to the viewer and essential reminders to even the top internet marketers on the net that you really do “EXPOSE” the basic elements with all kinds of whistles and bells.
I started viewing the videos right after I signed up
when I reached video 6..I was knocked out….I could not absorb any more…I came back and went through another round of viewing with more preparation and you knocked me out again…the content is overwhelming
Then you don’t stop there…you also provide the best affiliate tools and instructions..your entire launch of this MiniSites Exposed moving the free line is the most selfless, most motivating and educational series I’ve ever seen by anyone…(trying not to sound redundant here)…but it’s a fact….
I’ve acquired hundreds of meat and potatoes in bite size portions from many others…but your video series sets the most profound example of all the elements you talk about as I watch your methodology
both past and present..I dare anyone to contradict me
I am taking another review of all these videos again with a notebook this time….I’m synthesizing and super sizing everything you discuss….and you do that in a very organized lecture series format..
I can’t say enough about these videos…I can’t put into words the power behind the creative concept you developed, I can’t be there to shake your hand and say well done…..but I’ll post this testimonial and give you the EMMY and Trophy well deserved above any internet GURU on the net…
I know you preach about the reader is not interested in anything about the person writing, but I wanted to be as transparent and revealing as possible about myself to build some credibility about myself before focusing on my testimonial about you and the MiniSitesExposed Videos and program as a whole..
It is not my standard to talk about myself at all…
I usually listen and keep my mouth shut..but your readers and loyal people who post on this really have to see my viewpoint as a semi-retired business owner
and what it took to ramp up to getting positioned to getting out a testimonial that just never give to anyone…..in fact this is the first of it’s kind.
Congratulations on raising the bar in this industry, setting an example of pure gold wisdom and winning my loyalty that others who are considered GURU’s haven’t earned yet….I won’t mention there names here….

Jimmy,
Thanks for heartfelt testimonial. I’m very happy to hear that the videos are are meaty as you wanted them to be…and more.
That was my goal. As I’ve said before, “free” shouldn’t mean “junk”.
Maybe your story will inspire others who read the blog. I think it’s pretty inspiring to hear how somebody can work so hard and so long to learn something. Your dedication is admirable.
I’ll keep doing my best to provide helpful information, and I hope people like you keep gobbling it up.

Ewan,
I’ve made it a policy not to allow any external links in posts, so I took yours out. People can still read your story by following the “Author’s Site” link, though.
I’m sorry to hear you’ve been having some struggles.
As you say, keep your head on straight and take small steps. Get something up and running, then grow it from there. That’s the way to win.

Michael, You’ve done a fabulous job and should consider yourself a top-notch educator. Your audio is clear, laid out in easily absorbed small chunks that flow nicely and are properly assembled, and best of all, you provide what MOST Internet Marketers “assume” the “average person” already knows and understands (which is usually NOT the case!).
Bravo, I began sending this out to my own subscribers immediately! It isn’t often I come across something I find worthy of talking about (at all), but Mini-Site Profits Exposed is superbly done!

Thanks, Polly.
It’s amazing to me how many “teachers” skip past stuff and assume people know more than they do.
I never want to insult anybody’s intelligence, but if somebody doesn’t connect the dots, people get left with a bunch of points that don’t add up to anything.
I hope your subscribers like it!

As usual, you’ve done it again. I have started to go through the videos and honestly I’m speechless. There is so much content it is mind boggling.
Already, I have learned a number of techniques that will make a huge impact on my websites.
Here is the amazing part: you gave away 12 content packed videos for free. I just felt I needed to say thank-you for putting together Minisites Profits Exposed. Awesome content. The videos are incredible.

Michael,
Just wanted to say thanks, this is one of the first information products I have ever downloaded that actually taught me something useful and valuable with someone on the mic whose voice was so over-hyped you weren’t sure if you could trust it or not. The lessons in this course were solid. Thanks again!

Normally, I hate videos… Mainly because I am of your father’s generation and I read faster than you will ever be able to talk
- So, anything that is not written (=readable) is a waste of time for me. Sorry, but that’s the truth.
However, not having an alternative, I had to start watching these videos a) to know what am I promoting; b) to see if there is anything that I can use in an upcoming project of mine. Well, the result was the “wow-effect”: if I got stuck with these videos for more than an hour just watching and watching… they are good, “son”!

Pleasantly surprised as I went through the Videos. These are so good and professionally done that I had to get them onto my site immediately.
I can’t recommend them enough (especially for newbies) so this became a perfect tool for my clients (yet after years of working online - I still gleaned a few nuggets).

Well done Michael - great system. I really loved Video #10 - the explanation was awesome.

Hi Michael, I am very new in this business and I am willing to learn. I believe that your vedios will be of great help but I was not sure if I could order the free vedios without paying the money for the update. Because I did not want to get into any financial problems I did not order it.I will appreciate it if you can let me know please.

Dear Michael,
I watched your video series as soon as I signed up. I knew that if I let it sit around I wouldn’t get to it.
It was great education and very detailed. Your explanations were clear and if people have a product or service to sell and follow these videos they could quickly start to make money.
The only thing I’m still left wondering about as in many courses is how to go about acquiring a product worth selling or making one myself. Of course I understand that this is the topic of other courses.
Basically I would say that your new video course is excellent for those who already have a mini-site or product that they are selling and want to take it to the next level and make more money.
Thanks Michael I’ll definitely be watching these videos many more times as my online ventures grow!
Best regards,

Good Morning Mr. Rasmussen. I am, it seems, a long term beginner. I have a very pertinent question for you. I am not very financial and I am going to create another website with XsitePro V2. My other one is and looks amateurish. The crux of the question, if I cannot afford to create a lot of Mini-Sites, because of the cost of the Domains, why cannot I create Mini-Sites as Sub Domains in my large web-site? I would really appreciate your answer, because I have viewed your fantastic “free” videos, and I would like to start working with their advice. Regards. Harry Deitch (Sydney,Australia).

Michael,
I just want to add my two cents worth of Kudos to you for providing such valuable information for us newbies. I’ve been reading posts and following links for 3 weeks, and last night I watched the first 5 videos and learned more than I have learned in the past 3 weeks. AND it was free!! You’re the kind of guy I want to do business with. I’m working on completing the necessary steps to help promote your videos. Thanks for everything. You’re the BEST!
